The Evaluate profession has no effect whatsoever on market prices or price deflation/inflation. Attributes even explicitly tell you what they affect now (Events and skill prereqs for Companions), and nowhere in there are market prices mentioned. This is not true and I wish you'd stop repeating it everywhere. Some companions are good at it too, so do not hesitate to spend some of their proficiency into those if you want to sell a lot. OK, it seems logical for the price to drop when selling large amounts and avoids game exploits.īut how do I know as a player, after how many stacks sold at the destination town, I start to receive less money for a specific merchandise? How much exactly "a couple of stacks" really means? Is it after after a fixed number of sold stacks? Or does it variate depending on location and type of merchandise?Īlso I see that some products at the market have "in demand" written near them and also some buy/sell prices are written in a faded red color. (Or, alternatively, sell to factions in the faction offers tab, since those prices aren't affected by the dynamic market.)Īlso, there are *very* few places where selling Ceruleus Crystals is profitable, generally way too far from Lumen to bother with. It's better to carry a couple stacks of several different goods each than a dozen stacks of all one trade good. I can't find the specific tutorial dialogue right now but I know this was explained in a few different places in the game. Just like the more you buy something, the more the price goes up.
